how to eat Plant based
We know that half the battle of deciding to eat more plant based is knowing what to cook...or thinking that all you can eat is salad. Here we give you ideas for:
Dates + Raw Nuts
Nuts have the most antioxidants and vitamins when eaten raw. When paired with this naturally sweet, melt in your mouth fruit, you won't even miss the salt!
Apple Slices + Nut Butter
Nut butter includes peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, walnut butter, and more. If you're up for it, arrange an assortment for dipping!
Roasted/Salted Nuts
A handful or two of roasted/salted nuts are good when you're craving something salty. They're also a source of Vitamin E, manganese, and omega-3 and 6 fatty acids!
Dark Chocolate Covered Nuts
A snack that's sweet, salty, AND crunchy....yum!
Fruit Bowl
A simple bowl of fruit is refreshing, sweet, and filling. Mix in as many or as little fruits as you like (or have in the fridge).
Dark Chocolate
That's right!...dark chocolate is vegan. Just remember that, as with everything, moderation is key.
Banana + Crunchy Nut Butter
For us, the crunch in the nut butter is mandatory when pairing with a banana. The crunchy, creamy mixture is so satisfying!
Pretzels + Nut Butter
We prefer our pretzels with classic peanut butter, but they all do the trick!
Hummus + Pita Chips
In recent years, SO many good brands and flavors of hummus have been released. We personally love Wegan's Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus
Dried Fruit
Dried fruit is a great snack for when you're craving something sweet. Dried mango and dried pineapple are our favorites!
Lentil Chips
Another snack with a quite few options to choose from in recent years! Our favorite are Probios Rosemary Lentil Chips.
Strawberries + Cookie Butter
Our favorite cookie butter, hands down, is by Lotus Bicoff. It comes in both creamy and crunchy and they're equally delicious!
